Simone Allen

Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Simone has been passionate about Women’s Health since her first rotation in medical school and graduated from the Doctor of Medicine (MD) at The University of Melbourne in 2015. She then spent the majority of her specialist training at The Mercy Hospital for Women but completed her Senior Registrar training with OGB in Ballarat. 

Simone has found her home in Ballarat with her husband and dog, Frankie. 

Simone is a bubbly addition to the team of Obstetricians at OGB offering personalised care of your pregnancy and birth at St John of God Hospital or Ballarat Base Hospital. She also provides consultations in general gynaecology with a special interest in non-invasive surgery and colposcopy. She provides specialist services at St John of God Ballarat, Grampians Health, Ballarat Day procedure centre and visiting services at Kyneton and Ararat. 

Simone is a fitness enthusiast, and has found a wonderful gym community in Ballarat. She loves a boogie, to travel, and never misses the chance to see a musical.
